3 PC Modern Jazz Outfit Set in original Blue Satin Flame wrap.
Desirable sizes and lots of potential. Even though the finish looks rough, it still preserves the beauty of its golden years. All shells are perfectly round and with original bearing edges.
All factory matched with stamped date Jan 1965

14x20 Bass Drum
8x12 Tom Tom: no badge, which is correct for this era. Original hardware in good condition with normal wear for its age. Some rust mainly on the rods. Pitting is present on the diamond plate bracket. Blue satin flame wrap in fair condition. Several scratches and cracks around the lugs, but they haven’t spread throughout the rest of the drum. Maple interior in great shape. No extra holes. Original muffler.
14x14 Floor Tom: a great drum in a very desirable size. No badge which is correct for this outfit. Original hardware except for the leg brackets. This floor tom had the push button system which wasn’t functioning well. We replaced it with the classic wing nut type. Hardware is in good condition with mild rust on some of the rods. Lugs look nice and shiny. Legs show some scuffs and scratches. Original muffler. Maple interior and bearing edges in very good condition. Jan 65 stamp is present. No extra holes. Wrap in fair condition. Several scratches and cracks around the lugs. One medium size crack (about 3") is also present in the mid center of the wrap. Please refer to pictures.
14x20 Bass Drum: Badge serial #55522. All original hardware in good condition with normal wear. Wrap shows same wear as the rest of the set. It's been cleaned up, but after 50 plus year of being around it surely won't ever look as it used to. Collectors know that this type of finish is one of the hardest to find in good condition.
