Another outstanding set from The Vintage Drum Bug vault!

For the Slingerland WMP fans out there here it is this lovely 4 pc set from 1964 (stamped on the clear maple interiors). Here are the specs:

5.5x14 Super Krupa Snare Drum: badge #52999. Stamped "Nov 64". Hardware presents light/mild pitting, but since it's been cleaned up throughly it just adds more character.
Wrap (wrap only)has a 4" crack but it's been secured so it won't expand any further. Remo coated Ambassador batter and Remo Ambassador snare. Both in VG condition. Original snare wires.

16x16 Floor Tom: Excellent shape. A real beauty. No badge (in accordance with era). Stamped "April 64" on clear maple interior. Hardware in good condition with mild/light pitting in some areas. Remo coated batter head and Remo clear Diplomat resonant head. Both in good condition.

14x20 Bass Drum: Badge serial #35702. Clear maple interior is stamped "April 64".  VG - Excellent condition. All original. No issues to describe. Hardware looks clean with mild pitting. Remo pinstripe batter head and Remo Fiberskyn on resonant. Both in great condition. Hoops have been lightly re-touched. Original consolette.

9x13 tom: The only drum that it's not originally from this set. We found the set without a rack tom and after some deliberation we decided to match it with this 1969 chocolate interior rack tom. The drum originally had the Set-o-matic bracket. The diamond plate matches the holes perfectly without having to drill any additional holes. The drum has a black and brass badge serial # 200654. No stamp date.
Tom is in good condition. Wrap shows an aprox. 1" micro-crack (please see picture). Also, one small area of about 2"x 2" present tom rash but the WMP pattern hides it pretty well. The hardware is all original and shiny. Very light pitting if any on the chrome plated parts. Original muffler. Remo coated Emperor batter and Ambassador clear resonant. Both in good shape.

Please look closely at the pictures as they represent exact condition of this beautiful set. Vintage Drum Bug has been serving the Vintage Drum community for 18 years with an outstanding success and reputation.
