Year 1974 based on the serial numbers
Bottom cymbal is 1120 grams. Serial #407923 / No keyholing or cracks. Black label logo is present. Heavy patina and lots of fingerprints.
Top cymbal is 1120 grams. Serial # 407322 / no keyholing or cracks. Black label logo is completely faded. Paiste 2002 engraved stamp is present. Heavy patina and wear.
Vintage/ Classic sound! Formula 602. Remember that the formula for the 2002 was changed in year 1974. Even though the series existed already since 1971, these are the real 602 formula on a 2002 model.
We know some people don't like Bonham's name to be mentioned, but in this case it's inevitable as these were the exact model and series he was playing from 1971 to the end of his career. It's important to mentioned that in 1971 Paiste created the 2002 series based on the same formula used in the 602 and Giant Beat series. Bonham used the 2002 since the very inception of the model.
