A drum that needs no introduction
Hands down one of the best snare drums ever made
Weapon of choice of THE MAN ( We won't say his name but you know who we are talking about)
Incredible condition for a drum that has been around for more than 4 decades.
Easily one of the top three best condition 402's we have found during these 18 years on the vintage drum market (at least a hundred 402's have passed through our hands)
The shell is almost pristine. Only a couple of very light scratches that are pretty close to impossible to spot.
Hoops are original and in Good shape (some light traces of pitting specially on the top one)
Blue/Olive pointy corners badge. Serial number: 1805339 indicates this drum is from 1978
P-85 has been upgraded to the newer model (chrome plated face) but correct era replacement will be included with the sale.
The drum sports a mint condition Puresound 21 wires snare
NOS Remo 80's era (small logo) batter head
Remo brand new clear snare side head
